Yodeling music takes on many forms depending on the style it originates from. The early forms of true yodeling from the tops of the Swiss mountains were vocal only without any instruments at all. Many of the more modern types of yodeling sounds combine vocals with various types of instruments to get the desired sound.

The two make very lovely sounds together but it is a very skilled and talented musician who can do both. He also has a few videos out that help other people learn the basics of yodeling. Christensen clearly enjoys the type of music he creates and performs and he wants others to be able to continue that legacy around the world as well.
In more recent years yodeling has found its place in the rock and pop genres as well. Some of the popular stars in this arena who have incorporated yodeling into their hit songs include Shakira, Jewel, and Gwen Stefani.
There are plenty of musicals and movies that feature yodeling music as well. One of the most popular is the Sound of Music which is both a movie and a musical performance that is done in various theaters.
