Sign language allows those who don’t have the ability to hear a way to continue interacting with others. It prevents them from being isolated and allows them to have a full and productive life. Many individuals who can’t hear but know sign language are able to have productive careers, get married, and raise children. The only difference is the way in which they communicate with others.
