To properly use an insulin syringe remove it from the packaging and draw the amount of air in it that equals the amount of insulin you plan to inject.
As you gently but firmly push the insulin syringe into the vial of insulin you will create a vacuum so that administering your insulin will be a smooth process. Turn the insulin upside down and slowly pull bad the syringe until it is filled with right amount of it. Remove the vial and tap on the full syringe with a couple of quick clicks of your thumb and forefinger. You are now ready to inject the insulin into the desired area on your body.
It is a good idea to carry a small container when you travel to place your used insulin syringes in until you return home or find a safe place for them. You should also have an approved container for them in your home. You can purchase your insulin syringes from pharmacies and online agencies.
